L’Arche GWDC provides housing and support services to adults with intellectual disabilities, and serves hundreds of people in the wider community, of many different backgrounds, by offering a place of belonging and growth.

Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

The Salvation Army National Capital Area Command serves anyone in crisis in the District, Suburban Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Whether it’s a hot meal, help paying a bill or a more long-term solution.
