Located in Washington D.C. Since 2018 Everyday People Coffee and Tea; a black and women-owned company wanted a coffee & tea company that was not only majorly single origin but also adheres to eco-friendly sustainable practices ensuring the farmers and farm productions are provided equitable wages to sustain a livelihood that depends on the coffee and tea trade.
Our coffee is ethically sourced, sustainably grown, and roasted in small batches in the US, while our loose leaf teas are sustainably grown with an 98% ethical tea partnership blended and packed here in the US.
All shipping products ( customs shipping boxes and custom tea bags and labels) are made here in the US using sustainable recyclable materials.
Our Commitment
We are deeply committed to the sourcing quality beans and loose leaf teas to produce our premium coffees & tea. 95% of our coffees and teas are directly sourced from coffee and tea farmers. We believe that importing our products directly from the farmers allows the farmers who depend on the coffee and tea trade to grow, provide a livelihood dependent upon the trade.
Our coffee and tea is roasted in a registered and approved FDA facility adhering to sustainable practices that has earned several certifications including but not limited to:
